Ashvin Senthil Kumaran

Ashvin Senthil Kumaran is the President and one of the drivers for Vector One Racing, Texas A&M University’s student-led Formula 1600 team. As both a leader and competitor, Ashvin blends his passion for motorsport with his background in business to guide the team’s growth on and off the track.

At Vector One Racing, Ashvin oversees team direction, sponsor relations, and operations, while also competing as a driver in the Formula 1600 Championship. His vision is to provide students with hands-on opportunities in professional motorsports, giving them real-world experience in engineering, racing dynamics, and business strategy.

Beyond racing, Ashvin has gained experience managing finances, conducting professional interviews, and collaborating with executives—skills that have strengthened his leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. He also brings a strong personal commitment to fitness, weightlifting, and personal development, always striving to push limits and achieve new goals.

Ashvin’s mission with Vector One Racing is clear: build a winning program that represents Aggie pride at the professional level while preparing the next generation of leaders in motorsport and beyond.
